Why Marietta Roofs Need Attention After a Storm
Hail Damage Is Invisible From the Ground
A Marietta roof can look completely normal from the driveway while the shingle mat underneath is bruised and the protective granules are gone.
Cobb County Gets Hit Regularly
Marietta sits in an area of Georgia that sees spring and summer hailstorms and high winds almost every year.
Damage Shows Up Months Later
Granule loss exposes the shingle mat to the sun. What starts as a hailstorm in spring often becomes a leak the following winter.
Heavy Tree Cover
Many Marietta neighborhoods have mature oaks and pines directly over the roofline. Falling limbs, constant shade and leaf litter shorten the life of a roof.
Clogged Gutters Push Water Back
Leaf buildup blocks the gutters, and water backs up under the shingles at the eaves. This is one of the most common causes of rot we find here.
Waiting Costs You the Claim
Most insurance policies limit how long you have to report storm damage. An inspection right after a storm protects your options.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you charge for a roof inspection in Marietta?
No. Roof inspections are free, with no obligation. You receive the photo report whether or not you hire us.
How do I know if my Marietta roof has hail damage?
From the ground, look for dents in gutters, downspouts, vents or the AC unit, and for granules collecting where the downspouts drain. Confirming damage on the shingles themselves requires getting on the roof, which is what the free inspection is for.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most residential roof replacements in Marietta are completed in a single day, weather permitting.
What shingles do you install?
We install any major shingle brand on the market, so you are not limited to one manufacturer. Most of our Marietta roofs use GAF or CertainTeed, where our certifications let us offer enhanced manufacturer warranties beyond the standard coverage. We also install designer and luxury shingle lines such as GAF Camelot II, as well as metal roofing. During your inspection we walk through the options that fit your home, your budget and your neighborhood, and explain what each warranty actually covers.
Can you help with an insurance claim?
We inspect the roof and document the damage with detailed photos, and we can attend the adjuster's inspection to point out what we found. The claim itself stays between you and your insurance company.
Do you work outside Marietta?
Yes. We regularly work in Kennesaw, Acworth, Smyrna, Powder Springs, Alpharetta, Roswell and across Metro Atlanta.
How soon can you come out after a storm?
Our office is in Marietta, so we can usually schedule a local inspection within a few days of your call.
